Private sessions
Sessions can require a PIN. Share it on badges or with the invitation; anyone without it cannot join or listen.
Retention you choose
Run a session with no recording at all, or keep recordings and transcripts only as long as you want them. Tell us when you book.
Deletion on request
Ask us to delete a session’s recordings and transcripts at any time, and we will confirm when it is done.
Where data is processed
In the EU region by default, or in the UAE. Government clients, and anyone who asks, can keep processing inside the UAE.
People watching
Every session is monitored live by our team, under confidentiality obligations, so problems are caught early.

Data lifecycle
What happens to the audio.
You decide what is recorded and for how long. Guests’ identities are not needed to join.
During the session
Audio from your sound desk is processed to produce interpretation and captions, and streamed to guests who joined your session.
After the session
If you asked for them, recordings, transcripts and subtitle files are prepared and shared with you. If you chose no recording, there are none to keep.
At the end of your retention period
Recordings and transcripts are deleted. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.
Responsible AI
Machines interpret. People stay responsible.
Machine interpretation can contain errors, especially with names, strong accents, overlapping speakers, poor audio and idiom. We reduce them with custom glossaries and Precision mode, and we watch every channel live.
For legally binding proceedings, medical consent, sensitive negotiations and VIP protocol, we recommend certified human interpreters from Sim Trans, alone or alongside AI channels.

Privacy questions
Do guests need to create an account or give personal details?
No. Guests scan a QR code and choose a language. No account, no sign-up. The usage report counts listeners per language; it does not identify them.
Is our event content used to train AI models?
We do not use your event content to train our own models, and we choose technology providers whose terms are compatible with that commitment. Ask us for the details in our data processing agreement.
Which technology providers do you use?
We use specialist providers for hosting, real-time audio, speech recognition, machine translation and voices. Our sub-processors page lists them by category and region; the named list is provided to clients on request and in our data processing agreement.
Do you comply with the UAE data protection law?
We work within the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, for visitors from the EU, the GDPR. For your event, you remain the controller of the content; we act on your instructions. We are happy to work through your requirements with your legal team.
Can we run a session with no recording at all?
Yes. Tell us when you book and the session runs without recordings or transcripts being kept. Guests still hear the interpretation and read captions live.
Can our data stay in the UAE?
Yes. We process in the EU region by default and in the UAE on request. Government entities often ask for it, and so can any client. Tell us at the start of planning so it is set up before the session.
What should we tell speakers and guests?
Tell speakers that their session is interpreted by AI and, if you are recording, that it is recorded. A line on the event card or the screen slide is usually enough for guests. We can suggest wording.
