Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan a QR code with their phone camera, which opens the event page in their browser. There is no app, no account and no sign-up. They choose their language and listen through their own earbuds, or read the captions.
How many languages can run at the same event?
SIM.AI offers 81 languages, and up to 12 of them can run at the same time from one audio feed. If you need another language on the day, adding it is a setting, not a new booth.
How far behind the speaker is the interpretation?
Guests hear the interpretation a few seconds behind the speaker. Captions appear at the same pace, so people can read along or check a name.
Is AI interpretation right for every session?
No, and we will tell you when it is not. For legally binding proceedings, sensitive negotiations or VIP protocol, we recommend certified human interpreters from Sim Trans, or a mix of human and AI channels. We are a translation company first.
What do you need from the venue?
One clean audio feed from the venue sound desk, a small table at the side of the room with power, and a reliable internet connection. Our technician works alongside your AV crew, who carry on as normal.
